FAQs
Impact Teen Drivers engages, educates, and empowers teens, their influencers, and community members including health professionals and first responders to help stop reckless and distracted driving.
How much do Impact Teen Drivers’ presentations or workshops cost?
Impact Teen Drivers is a non-profit organization funded through generous donors, grants, and corporate support. If you are in the state of California, we are supported by the California Highway Patrol through the Office of Traffic Safety. Regardless of where you are and whether we have a grant in your state or not, we will work with you and your budget to determine how we can best assist you and your local community.
Are your presentations graphic or gory?
Our presentations do not include graphic images or scare tactics. Research shows that emotional appeal has more influence over teens’ long-term behavior than scare tactics, so Impact Teen Drivers connects with teens on an emotional level by using stories of real teens and their families.
In what areas can Impact Teen Drivers’ presentations be held?
Although our home office is based in Sacramento, California, Impact Teen Drivers has Education Outreach Coordinators and Ambassadors all over the United States. To request a presentation in your area, use our Request a School Presentation or Request a Parent Teen Workshop form and we will connect you with a presenter in your area.
Can I request a specific story or topic be shared with my school/organization?
If your school/organization would like a specific story or topic shared, please include this on your Request a School Presentation or Request a Parent Teen Workshop form. We will connect you with a presenter in your area who can further discuss this request with you. Contact us.
