Lead the Leaders
Be The Example Others Follow

Lead the Leaders is a peer-to-peer leadership program that equips teen leaders to become advocates for safer driving in their own schools and communities.

Impact Teen Drivers understands that teens often listen most closely to their peers, and this program harnesses that power to create positive change. Lead the Leaders is about building confidence, communication skills, and leadership that extends beyond the classroom, empowering teens to be champions of a safer roadway culture.

Stories That Drive Change
Real student leaders making a difference.

Natalia was a compassionate, service-minded 15-year-old who was a class officer, cheerleader, and trusted friend with a promising future. Riding home with friends at night, the group ignored provisional license restrictions while loud music, social media, speeding, and passenger activity distracted the inexperienced driver, who looked toward the back seat and crashed into a tree, killing Natalia. Her story shows why Graduated Driver Licensing laws matter and reminds drivers, passengers, and parents that following the rules, limiting distractions, slowing down, and speaking up can save a life.

What They Are Saying

Lead the Leaders helped me understand that student leaders set the tone through their actions. Once I saw that, I became more intentional about the choices I make because others are watching.

Sofia P.
Student Council Vice President

The program showed me how leaders help define what feels normal. When leaders model safer behavior, it makes it easier for others to follow.

Ethan W.
Peer Leadership Team

Lead The Leaders gave me language to speak up without sounding judgmental. It made safety conversations feel natural instead of awkward.

Nia C.
Youth Advisory Board

The program aligns with what we know about peer influence. It gives student leaders practical tools to reinforce positive norms.

Mr. Patel

The program equipped student leaders to model and sustain safer behaviors across campus. The impact extends well beyond the session.
