Passenger Power
Harness the Power of Passenger Safety

Passenger Power helps young children develop lifelong safe riding habits long before they ever take the keys.

The evidence-based curriculum is broken into grade-level lessons that grow with students, reinforcing age-appropriate skills and shared roadway responsibility at each stage of development.
Through interactive activities and simple, repeatable messages, students learn that their choices as passengers matter. Buckling up, speaking up, and looking out for others are introduced early and reinforced over time to support safer riding now and safer driving later.

Why This Program Works

Passenger Power works because it introduces proven safety behaviors at the right developmental stages. By reinforcing key countermeasures through grade-level progression, safer habits are practiced consistently and become second nature long before students become drivers.

Speak Up. Be a Hero!

Passengers have the power to help make every car ride safer. Be Your Own Hero is a fun, engaging video that helps students recognize distractions they may see in a car and discover how using their voice can make a difference. Through relatable scenarios and interactive moments, students learn that speaking up is one way they can be a hero for everyone in the car.

What They Are Saying

My daughter reminds me to buckle up and put my phone away every time we get in the car now. She calls herself the 'safety helper.

Parent
of 3rd Grade Student

My son used to argue about wearing his seat belt in the back seat. After Passenger Power, he buckles up without being asked and reminds his friends to do the same.

Parent
of 4th Grade Student

The program gave my students language to talk about safety in ways that feel natural and empowering. They're excited to be part of keeping everyone safe.
