Why are you passionate about empowering young people to be safer drivers and passengers?
Every crash caused by reckless or distracted driving is preventable, and giving young people the knowledge and tools to make safer choices can truly save lives. As a parent, I know how nerve-wracking it is to have a teen on the road, and I want to do everything I can to make sure they—and everyone around them—get home safely. Helping teens build responsible driving habits now means shaping safer roads for everyone in the future.

What draws you to the Impact Teen Drivers mission?
ITD’s mission is personal to me—my daughter recently became a licensed driver, and I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to educate young drivers before they get behind the wheel. It’s not just about rules and laws; it’s about changing the way they think about driving and the responsibility that comes with it. I love that ITD takes an engaging, real-world approach to making a difference in teen driving safety.

Why do you enjoy being part of Impact Teen Drivers?
The people, the mission, and the impact—it all makes being part of ITD incredibly rewarding. I love working with a team that truly cares about making the world a safer place. Every day, we’re working on creating and improving programs that have real-life impact.  Seeing the difference we make in the lives of young drivers and their families is what keeps me motivated.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking with my family or just enjoying a quiet moment in nature. Painting in my shed is my creative escape, and curling up with a good book (and my cats) is one of my favorite ways to relax. And every year, I take on the 52 Book Challenge—so far, I haven’t missed a year, and I plan to keep that streak going!

What three adjectives would you use to describe yourself?
Creative, Resourceful, Adaptable.
