Why are you passionate about empowering young people to be safer drivers and passengers?

As a retired law enforcement officer, I saw firsthand the destructive results from unsafe driving among young drivers. Because of these experiences, I wanted to get to the root and empower safe driving habits at a young age.

What draws you to the Impact Teen Drivers Mission?

I was drawn to Impact Teen Drivers because of its mission to change the culture of driving.  Changing the culture allows positive and safe driving among all young drivers.  I like that the program doesn’t just focus on what you shouldn’t do but offers solutions.

Why do you enjoy being part of Impact Teen Drivers?

I enjoy working as a team in stopping this preventable killer of teens.  I originally signed up to be a police officer to help people.  Even though I’m retired, I feel this is a good way to continue helping people and saving lives.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy spending time with my family, biking, and working out at the gym.
