What is your background?
I attended Sacramento State where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development (Social & Community Settings) and a minor in Counseling. I absolutely love working with young people.
Why are you passionate about empowering young people to be safer drivers and passengers?
I am passionate about empowering young people to make good decisions because I have seen the impact and devastation that car crashes have on families and communities when a life is taken too soon.
What draws you to the Impact Teen Drivers Mission?
I love that the mission of ITD is more than bringing awareness to an important issue. Instead, ITD is about changing behavior. Young people understand that car crashes are tragic, but by providing education and strategies in a multi-faceted approach, they can help us to stop the #1 killer of young people for generations to come.
Why do you enjoy being part of Impact Teen Drivers?
Not only do I enjoy working with young people, I find that I am constantly inspired by my team and the passion they bring to the table.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and staying active.
What three adjectives would you use to describe yourself?
Compassionate, communicative, and perceptive.
