What is your background?
I received my BA in Communications at William Paterson University of New Jersey.
Why are you passionate about empowering young people to be safer drivers and passengers?
The first time I saw an ITD presentation I felt empowered to be a better example while driving for my loved ones. Specifically, the one person who takes notice of everything I do is my two-year-old daughter. I want her to be influenced positively when we are in the car.
What draws you to the Impact Teen Drivers Mission?
I’m drawn to making a change in our current driving culture. It’s amazing to see how many communities (nationwide) are using ITD’s programming to help stop reckless and distracted driving.
Why do you enjoy being part of Impact Teen Drivers?
I love being a part of the ITD team because I see so much passion in everyone—it’s hard not to be inspired by everyone when are all working together.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like spending my downtime trying my renditions of the recipes I save on my Pinterest boards. I also recently got into gardening; I’m still learning and I’m sure it will pay off eventually. Besides cooking and gardening, you can usually find me hanging out with my family.
What three adjectives would you use to describe yourself?
Easy-going, Patient, Reflective
