Get Involved

Impact Teen Drivers would not be the successful organization we are today without the countless volunteers, affected family members, and numerous community organizations we work with to help spread the word that the #1 Killer of Young People in America—reckless and distracted driving—is preventable. There are many ways to get involved with the Impact Teen Drivers organization. You can become an ambassador in your community or state, make a donation to sponsor an educational program or Train-the-Trainers program in your community, become a facilitator in your community, or simply share one of our social media links with your friends, family, and co-workers. We are currently rolling out our programs in 27 states to take our message to schools and youth events, and we continue to engage teens via the Internet. Every dollar donated goes directly to taking the message to teens that the number one killer of teens in America is distracted and reckless driving. You can give hours by volunteering to bring our engaging programs and materials into your community. No time? Use your social networks to spread the safe driving message to your family and friends—you never know whose life you may be saving.

Nothing feels better than donating to a great cause. Make your tax-deductible donation today and help Impact Teen Drivers educate more teens, parents, and community members about the dangers of distracted and reckless driving.

Sponsor a School

Want to make sure your local school has access to the Impact Teen Drivers program? A $500 donation gets resource packets sent to the school of your choosing. These packets have tons of information about safe teen driving and will teach students about the importance of being focused on the road—whether as a driver or passenger.

Create Real Impact

Twice a year, the Create Real Impact Contest gives high school and college students the chance to spread the message about the dangers of distracted and reckless driving. We do this by offering educational grants and awards to the winners for the most creative and effective peer-to-peer messaging they create. With your help, we can make our next contest bigger and more successful than ever. You can request that your donation(s) go specifically toward an educational grant or school award. For more information about the contest, go to

Get hands on! Teens, teachers, parents, and concerned community members can get involved with Impact Teen Drivers by volunteering. You can bring the message and materials into your local community. Teens, if you need volunteer hours or a senior service project, getting involved with Impact Teen Drivers is a great choice because it's flexible, the resources are easy to use, and you can even focus on educating any age group--elementary, middle/junior, or senior high school students or peers.
