Why are you passionate about empowering young people to be safer drivers and passengers?

Some of my classmates and friends lost their lives in preventable crashes while we were in high school and then again in college. The ripple effect in a family and a community is devastating. I know that one voice can prevent a crash and save a life. Education and empowerment gives young people the words and the courage to speak up.

What draws you to the Impact Teen Drivers Mission?

In addition to my personal experience as a young person, the ambition of the Impact Teen Drivers Mission is magnetic. It brings diverse people together in the shared vision.

Why do you enjoy being part of Impact Teen Drivers? 

I appreciate the collaboration and support of the team. I love seeing the creativity of new curricula, materials, and events. The evolution from the first year to now has been a privilege to be a part of, and I can’t wait to see the future.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I like to read, craft, and spend time in nature camping, hiking, and rowing.
