Patricia
Seymour

1987-2004

On 12-6-76, Patricia "Tricia" Jean Seymour's grandmother, Patricia J Seymour, passed away from cancer. On that day I knew I would have a daughter named Patricia. On 3-26-87, my dream became a reality, as Patricia and her twin brother, Craig, were born. Tricia became affectionately known to me as "Lovergirl", a nickname she lovingly accepted.

She and her brother are my greatest gifts and though I was cheated out of the Time with Patricia, I was not cheated of the time I had with Patricia. Our lives were filled with fun, adventure, and yes, the regular fight, but the day would always end with "I Love You."

On May 29, 2004, at approximately 1130 AM, I was able to say my last "I Love You" to Tricia, as at approximately 1 PM, I was to receive the phone call of an accident. Tricia and her friend Erika Smith, the blonde in the white top to Tricia's left, were both killed in the vehicle driven by their friend. There were 4 girls in the car, Tricia and Erika on the right side. There was a senseless act of driving, kids having fun, the car flipped over, and then it was over. I now have two things to say. First to the parents and kids listen too, "I would rather hear my daughter say I hate me everyday for the rest of my life for something I wouldn't let her do, then to try and remember the last time she said "I Love You." Now for the kids.... it is an acronym

Kids be safe, have fun, be responsible. Adults take on your role as parents, teach responsibility and accountability and let's all make this a safer world.
